Mini Green Power signs a framework contract with an international player in the waste industry for the construction of a 1 MWthCSR demonstrator[1] and five 10 MWth units over 5 years to recover CSR energy
Mini Green Power announces the signature of a framework contract for the construction of a 1 MW demonstrator and five 10 MW power plants, enabling the recovery of over 110,000 t/year of solid recovered fuel (SRF). These plants will be built over a 5-year period as a continuation of the demonstrator.
Hyères-based Mini Green Power will be responsible for the design, manufacture, assembly, factory testing, installation, and commissioning of the demonstrator. The demonstrator will be tested in Hyères and then installed at one of the customer's sites. Commissioning is scheduled for the first half of 2025. The 10 MWth plants will be installed between 2026 and 2030.
These 6 plants will significantly reduce CO2 emissions over their 20-year lifespan compared with gas-fired power plants of the same output.
These ambitious projects mark the start of a strategic collaboration between the two companies. The collaboration aims to strengthen their mutual positions in the market for low-carbon energy and sustainable solutions and affirm a shared commitment to developing advanced, environmentally friendly energy solutions.
Jean Riondel, CEO of Mini Green Power: "The signing of this framework agreement marks the start of an exciting adventure. It demonstrates our partner's trust and commitment to our company and allows us to look forward to a long-term collaboration. We look forward to seeing the results of this fruitful collaboration."
